Rules

Object of the Game :

Object of this game is to create such a position that the Roth has no move in reply of a charge and then the Roth is counted as Jammed. Game is then own by the charging player.

  • Zapping.
  • Advantage.
  • Drawn Game.

Zapping :

Zap means to kill by hitting. Here too, if any man, by its normal movement (sans Goj & Pik) can reach such a block which is already occupied by opponent man, it (former one) may occupy that block ousting opponent from the board. This action is called Zapping and denoted by ‘z’. The zapper is put to left side while the zapped one is placed to right side of ‘z’. Goj and Piks zap diagonally as stated in their respective rules.

Notation :

Nite zaps Bull at e4= N z B;e4

Roth zaps chief at d9= R z C;d9

Goj zaps Fort at f10=  G z F;f10

Advantage :

When in reply of a move, one doesn’t find any move at all, the game comes to a halt. This particular situation is, therefore called as Halt and the player by whose move it is arrived to be designated as Haltener and his opponent as Haltanee. The former, after attaining the situation, must withdraw his last move by which the Halt has been arrived followed by a different move and the Haltener thereby shall earn an Advantage over the Haltanee. Achieving another Halt by the same player shall end the game declaring him the Winner. In case, both the players somehow earn the Halt advantage, any of them earning immediate 2nd. Advantage shall win.

Drawn Game :  The game, though very unlikely, shall be declared drawn & undecided, if both the players by mutual understanding decide so.

Notation:  The normal moves are denoted as “≈”. For example, a Bull moves from c1 block to g5 block–––––. B c1≈ g5. Nite moves from b1 block to c3 block–––––N b1≈ c3.

Zapping moves are denoted as “z”. For example, Bull moves from c1 block to g5 block and zaps a Goj––––– Bc1z Gg5.

The game shall start either by mutual understanding or by tossing a coin.
